Each week we gather from every corner of Glasgow to unite in worship, prayer and under the teaching of God's Word. While covid restrictions are in place we meet at 4pm on the Southside.
What can I Expect?
When you arrive our welcome team will be there to greet you on the door. You can expect our meetings to be relaxed, so whether you’re more comfortable in a trackie or a three-piece-suit, feel free to come as you are. Our meetings are structured to help us to live increasingly meaningful lives, as we pursue love, truth and unity for God’s glory and Glasgow’s good. That would almost always include singing together, teaching from the Bible, opportunities for people to be prayed for and to take communion. While covid restrictions are in place the meetings will need to be a bit different to normal, but we aim to make our time together as valuable as possible. There is no pressure, so you can join in with as much or as little of that as you feel comfortable.
What about my kids?
Grace Tots (for toddlers) and Grace Kids (for ages 3-6 and 7-10) takes place each week. We believe that kids are not the warm up and put a lot of emphasis on their dsicipleship at home and in the church family.
When do we meet?
Throughout the summer we will be meeting at 4pm on the
Southside. Look out for other church meetings taking place through social media and our weekly email which you can sign up for on Sundays.
We plan to return to the city centre on Sunday mornings once restrictions are lifted, but for now we are meeting on the Southside. The meeting is at our friend's place: Rehope Southside, 14 Redgwood Street, Shawlands, G41 3JG.
If you are travelling by public transport to the Southside, Polokshaws East Station is a stone's throw away and several buses stop on Kilmarnock Road near Redgwood Street.
Both buildings are fully accessible for wheelchair users and other forms of mobility aids. Please indicate to our Welcome Team if you require an accessible entrance and they will gladly guide you to the appropriate door.
There are plenty of bike racks on Kilmarnock Road, just across from Dinisi's Cafe. For the meeting in Town there is a bike rack outside the building. If you are able, we would encourage you to cycle. Not only is It good for your health and the environment, it’s free!
