Advance Movement

The church was birthed in a prayer meeting at Gateway Church in Poole before Iain and Lyndsay moved their family north with many tears and prayers to follow God’s calling. Glasgow Grace continue to partner with Gateway and many other churches across the UK and the world through the Advance Movement.

Advance is a global movement of churches partnering together to advance the Gospel through planting and strengthening churches. Together, and in the power of the Holy Spirit, we aim to take new ground for the Gospel in small towns, suburbs, cities and nations.

As part of this partnership Advance provides prayer, friendship, accountability, financial assistance, visiting speakers and guidance from all over the world. Advance is more than an affiliation or governing body to Glasgow Grace, it is a genuine partnership in the Gospel as we seek to make much of Jesus in our own contexts.
