Grace Bible Reading
At Glasgow Grace, we are convinced that every word of Scripture is “God-breathed” (2 Tim. 3:16). Jesus taught that the Word of God will stand forever, and we don’t want to do anything that isn’t rooted in what God has said. One way that we pursue the truth of God's word together is through Grace Bible Reading.
We follow a reading plan that we hope is quick enough to enjoy the threads of the Bible's storylines from Genesis to Revelation, while being slow enough to dig a little deeper each day. Each year we read through the New Testament once and a third of the Old Testament. Of course, that means that by the end of three years we will all have read the Old Testament once and New Testament three times.
We would like to encourage you to invite others to read with you and to share what has been making an impact on you. Most people do this through WhatsApp groups with one or two others, deciding together on which day of the week they will share their thoughts and prayers with each other.
